I went all out and wrote a new blog, which you can see by clicking on this RSS link. I also added the Dilbert daily comic strip to my home page, for your amusement. More updates coming over the next week. http://www.joncairns.com/ Added my last.fm radio station to my website, as a popup. You can see what I'm listening to, and in many cases listen to it as well! Click on the link at the top left of the page to open the radio, and visit last.fm to see the main site. http://www.joncairns.com/blog Added a new blog, which you can read by clicking the RSS feed link. I also fixed a few problems with the essential albums section, and prettied up the blog a bit. http://www.joncairns.com/music/albums Finally added the essential albums section! I've been working on this for a while, as it requires some careful database programming. I've also been tweaking things here and there, and generally making the site more presentable. Still not quite happy with the day theme! http://www.joncairns.com/tutorials Added a new tutorial, "Understanding and using CSS floats", and finished PanelsUI tutorial (finally). Click on the title to go to my tutorials section. Also did some little graphics tweaks, such as the blog image for the day theme. http://www.joncairns.com/ Mammoth update session, including a hefty rework of the "day" theme, the addition of a cookie-based style changer, fixing the photo gallery in Internet Explorer, adding a favicon and other details here and there. Still have a few unfixed problems... http://www.joncairns.com/ I've been developing the essential albums in my music section, which I hope to put up in the next few days. I've also added new links to my links page, and have done some more XHTML validation. http://www.joncairns.com/ Fixed some stupid mistakes, like the blog reel on the home page showing more than I wanted, and the navigation things not updating. This is what you get if you develop your website yourself! Also tweaked some of the graphics on the day theme. http://www.joncairns.com/blog/ Wrote a new blog, entitled "Blogging is Dead". Additionally, I've sorted out all of the broken links with my foobar2000 tutorial, sorry to all the people who couldn't find it! http://www.joncairns.com/ Fixed some broken links, and added automated error script that warns me of future problems. Also tweaked "day" theme, to make it look tidier, and attempted to fix a weird scattering problem with the clouds and the sun! I have redesigned my website from the ground up, and one of the changes is a distinction between a blog and the news, which was blurred before.
